Well thank you for the warm welcome back! I very much enjoyed hearing from some of you via comments here on my blog and also on my facebook page and the emails that were sent, I was happy to know that some people are still reading my blog and had not given up on me after that break. I have been busy taking photos of cards I have made and not yet blogged, I now need to just do one super long catch up post.
This card I am sharing today was for CASE Study 128 with Teri Anderson as our Fabulous February muse, I am really enjoying her cards and I have even been happy with what I created inspired by her talents and ability to create “paper artworks”. To the left you will see this weeks card to take inspiration from.
Below is my take on Teri’s card, I started with the colours I have used So Saffron and Island Indigo from Stampin’ Up! as the main colours with a little Crumb Cake sponging. The layout and circle placement on Teri’s card, was used on my card with the paper design of the circles and the strip of Island Indigo across the bottom of the card. I have added ribbon in place of string, and a clear Vintage Faceted button over the button, I felt like they were like the buttons Teri used in the center of some of her circles. You will notice I have added a few extra layers but that’s the way I roll, I am not as CAS as Teri.
So as you know I adore the insides of my cards to look as pretty as the outside, I try and carry over the design from the front in a simple way. I played around with the inside alot this time around, at first I had the same paper as the front inside where the newsprint is now but it was just too busy looking, the newsprint looks much better.
Sometimes and I would like to highlight that it is only “sometimes” I have a strike of genius… but my friends I have had a strike and I am glowing with proudness!!!! Did you notice the cute little scallop I have on the front and inside my card? YES? Are you wondering what it is…..
Thanks for stopping by!

First: thank you for commenting on my Grammy/Super Baba card! As a novice to this ‘sport,’ your words mean a great deal! You certainly brightened my day…and then, I came to your site. WOW! My day shifted from ‘bright’ to full on ‘shining’ with what I see here. Your cards are gorgeous! You have transformed these little paper canvasses into masterpieces, with insides every bit as pretty as the outside. I am in AWE!! I’m glad your posting hiatus is at an end; I’m looking so, so, so forward to many return visits!! Have a fantastic day!

Oh, now that’s a bit clever!! Lovely card once again T.
I love your cards…they are always fabulous! This one is especially beautiful -the way you work with the paper and add all the little extras. I hope you don’t mind if I CASE it! I check your blog regularly to see what else you’ve done! Thanks for sharing.
What a beautiful card! What a wonderful way to showcase that designer paper. So many little extra touches bring this card together. Beautiful!
I Love this card! I had to keep looking at it. It looks like you have a frame around it and I couldn’t figure out how you did that but then I realized it is just the shadows. Also, genius on the flower trim, I will be stealing this idea for future cards for sure! I also took a Long break from the bloging world, not sure how long yours was but mine was 3 years. So enjoyed your post, glad you are bloging again!
