Greetings my inky friends. You have arrived just in time for a new challenge from the crazy kids at Global Design Project, it is time for case the designer. The spotlight is being pointed to fellow Australian Jessica Williams, who is also one of the current Stampin’ Up! Artisans. With this challenge, a card was selected that Jessica had created, which you can see below. Our job is to take elements as inspiration to create a new card.
I am loving Jessica’s card, there are so many elements to note. Here is what I have created, her colours played a big part in my card. Not that it is clear in the photo but I have watercoloured the large flowers in Watermelon Wonder and the smaller flowers are in Calypso Coral.
I also took inspiration from the flower wreath, I did start out trying to create a wreath like shape using Brithday Bloom but the card was way to large! Then after a little more playing I ended with stamping and masking to have two flowers with a little extra popping out flowers.
Long time readers of my blog, know I love to stamp the inside. I really like the thin black boarder.
