Happy new challenge day. Global Design Project has just thrown down a new challenge, it is a theme this week, not a very hard theme…. Nature. We will see lots of flowers, leafs, trees, bees and butterflies. Visit Global Design Project HERE
I am excited to see what everyone creates, I went with flowers. I selected “Helping Me Grow” as the stamp set to feature and I also used it on this card HERE back in January. I was watercoloured the flower using Rose Red, a colour that I have not used in a while but sure is pretty and Old Olive for the stem.
For a different background effect, take a whipser white craft ink pad direct to your cardstock, smooch the pad with the cardstock until covered. Some areas with have more ink than others. now ink up stamps with versamark and stamp over the cardfront that was covered in white craft ink. In this card the main panel and greeting was also covered with white craft ink for a softer look.

OOOh Teneale, how lovely – and what a great background technique, can’t wait to try it. Thanks so much for sharing your beautiful creations.
gorgeous!
Stunning. I love the way you use space, color and texture to create these amazingly complex, but simple designs. I can’t get over your style.
Crazy beautiful, Teneale! I love the background you’ve created, but I’m amazed by the wrapped banner. The entire card is fantastic!
