Happy MONDAY! Let’s get straight into why you dropped by, you are looking for a little creative eye candy. The card for today is based on a sketch I design for the current challenge at Global Design Project and you can see the sketch below. All of us at Global Design Project would love to have you use the sketch to make a card and share it with us, if you do not have a blog then you could upload the card into Pinterest like Debra Olsen did last week, giving the Design Team and fellow players a chance to see her creation.
I love the sketch and I have already had a sneak peek to the other Design Team cards and all the fabulous ways they have taken the sketch. I changed the direction of the angle to start off with.
Have I left you scratching your head thinking what have I used? I know, normally I am all about stamped images but sometimes I girl needs a card that is just that little more special, when that happens I go to Project Life by Stampin’ Up! (PLxSU) accessory packs, you can view the range here. All the accessory packs are made up differently, most have a little washi tape, alphabet stickers, die cut words, sequins and speciality PL cards.
Here is the Hello December 2015 accessory pack I used, I have a few more projects coming up this month on the Stampin’ Up! corporate blog as my final role on the Artisan Design Team. Keep your eye out for that.
I added just a second image, for the all the Pinterest fans out there that want to save the card for later inspiration and this will remind you what was used.
I can not end without showing the inside design of the card. I added a little holly for a pop of colour which I fussy cut from Season of Cheer DSP.
Today forget to pop over and look at the Global Design Project blog for the rest of the Design Team and players gallery, simply click HERE.
I love the technique you have used Teneale on your card with the tearing and getting ready for Christmas – just love your card. It’s great how the sketch can be interpreted differently. Ange
