I have been looking forward to this challenge at Global Design Project; it is all things Project Life! See more about Project Life by Stampin’ Up! and products HERE. Since Stampin’ Up! started offering an exclusive range of products I have returned to scrapbooking well not that it is called that anymore, the new term is memory keeping. For me, scrapbooking memory keeping was my gateway drug to my papercraft addiction, finding stamps then cardmaking, becoming hooked on also the joy of giving something I created.
See the challenge HERE
As I said Project life helped to bring me back to memory keeping, I have created many layouts using the project pages. I still enjoy to add in a few full page layouts to my albums, see HERE a page I created a few weeks ago that is now a cover page to an album I am working on. The album I speak of is all about my youngest niece, I have taken the challenge to share this page, it is a note to my youngest niece.
When using, project life products don’t limit yourself to just memory keeping in pocket pages, mix up your albums to have a few feature pages of 12×12 layouts. Here only an accessory pack was used. This page is more about the text; a note mentioning of all the little things that make up this little sweetheart.
I used my treasured typewritter to add my text, you can see the A key is having a few issues and does not show every well but I think it is part of the charm. I have added this image to maybe inspire some documentation on a future project. I wish my typewritter had a Exclamation mark and I realised I stopped using the comma after the first quarter. I should say, it is a good idea to write out what you are doing to say, I did not and totally missed the back space/delete key that I am SO used it when typing.
She really is a crazy, creative and totally sweetheart who LOVES socks and sandals. I had to add my note of sarcasm with the ‘lovely heart’.

This is lovely, what a treasure….the typewriter type is so old school and FUN. Still have mine too!
BTW, to make an exclamation point, use an apostrophe (on my typewriter, it is the shift 8), then back space and do a period. That’s REALLY old school!
Oh, cool. I need to see if that works. I LOVE my typewriter.
Teneale, this is stunning! Now I NEED a typewriter!!!
I love everything about this page. The colours, the photo layout, the great but sparse use of the embellishments. But especially, the beautiful words written to her niece by a loving Aunty.
Wonderful layout Teneale – I love that you have shown that “traditional” scrapbooking really is just memory keeping too. That we don’t have to seperate the two – they are together. Project Life® by Stampin’ Up!® doesn’t limit us to the pockets if we don’t want to. I adore the 12″ x 12″ Mint Macaron cardstock – just gorgeous. TFS.
LOVE!! Perfect way to showcase that you can still have 12×12 pages…I’ve said this all along to ‘traditional’ scrapbookers who still want to do 12×12 pages. Perfect! And of course a gorgeous page…ADORE the typewriter text…you rocked it. I would have messed it up for sure!!
I love how you used the typewriter and the variations in the font… and if you had written it out it wouldn’t have been as spontaneous and like a stream-of-conscience. I like it the way it is – great page!
Gorgeous Teneale! A real treasure.
