Rose Wonder

January 11, 2016

Teneale WIlliams | Stampin up Rose Garden Thinlits Dies | Friend Clean and Simple handmade CAS card using Big Shot

Two cards in two days, I really must have found my stamping mojo. Just in time to join my friends at Global Design Project  for their latest challenge, a sketch I designed for them and I have been super excited for this sketch to roll around because it can be taken in so many different ways with the repeated writing that could be an image repeat not limited to a greeting or really it can be ANYTHING. I have already had a peak at the fellow design team and the cards are so CREATIVE! You really must pop over to look and we would love if you play along.

Sketch designed by Teneale Williams for Global Design Project

My creation; Which I am pretty happy with, I have made this card with onone in mind but thinking it could be good to have on hand. It is very clean and simple with has become more of my style over the past year, however still elegant with the natural tones I have used of Crumb Cake, Basic Black and Very Vanilla.

Add dimension to die cut elements by cutting multiple and layering them on top of each other. in this card both the rose and greeting were layered, with the leaf remaining a single layer.

Are you kidding – I can only see two layers on that rose so it must have taken an age to stick together with dimensonals! Clean yes, simple, no. Gorgeous work as always Miss T.

Beautiful card Teneale! I love the neutral color palette. The white rose pops on the black script DSP and even more so with the multiple layers. Fabulous sketch!
