Each time a new Stampin’ Up! Catalogue is released I study flick through the pages and make a mental shopping list of what I need in my first order and what I live without for a few months weeks. The stamp set that I am showcasing in today’s card went straight onto the “I need asap list”. The stamp set in question is called Healing Hugs, featuring a rubber style called distINKtive that Stampin’ Up! has developed, giving a photorealistic stamped image as displayed with the rose and leaves.
Over the background of the card, I have stamped the rose image tone on tone in Fresh Fig. To add great depth I have sponged the edges with Sahara Sand ink and stamped grid plus ink splatter image using Memento Black ink.
Inside the card, the elements from the front have carried through and plenty of room has been left to write a message.
