To start
Happy Mothers day to all the Mum’s Celebrating today!
My beautiful Mum included,
I LOVE YOU so much
and I am grateful everyday that your my mama bear {oxoxox}
……………………
…………………………………………………
last night I hosted my monthly team night {some may call it team training}
this is when some gorgeous girls in my
INKspired Stampin’ Up! Team meet up
for a few hours of SU! related chit chat, fun and inspiration.
……………
………………
I am SO very blessed to have such a wonderful SU! Team
We have all been brought together by our love of stamping
and from that many of us have formed friendships.
We all have different objectives for being Stampin’ Up! Demonstrators
some like me to have a papercraft business,
some to buy at a discount, or place orders with friends.
…………….
…………….
The words of Helen Keller best describe the culture of my team:
Alone we can do so little;
together we can do so much.
………………
This rings true with
developing our artistry or growing our business
after one of our sessions I am always
so “INKspired” by things I learnt from my peers.
My goodness I just have the warm fuzzes!
………….
………….
Anyway I lost track a little express my love
but
I always like to do something a little special for my girls
Last night the theme was MDS!
They all know how much I LOVE
I wanted to show how we can create
so much more then
cards and scrapbook pages with the digital artwork.
………………
………………………….
…………..
I made it a baby shower theme,
This is one of the invitations I designed
to show them example.
…………..
…………….
I used the washing line design/theme
for my sweets table.
………………
Remember how I said
I always learn something from our sessions
well before it even started!
I was taught {or reminded} that I am a horrible barker
and should stick to papercraft!
I am not going to embarrass myself
and tell you about my failing cooking attempt.
………………
………..
All of the images on the background of the display
was created from MDS digital images
I printed them and cut them out
………….
I wish I made the clouds a little darker Soft Sky
I dropped the opacity a little to low.
……………
Stampin’ Up! are just so clever
they have designed the punch’s in MDS to
work perfectly with the “real” Punch’s
below I have used the Label Punch to cut my printed image
…………..
………..
I did say I was not going to embarrass myself
but
these were intended to be
Cake Pop Flowers below
then
after I filed that idea in
the “too hard” basket
I decided
on coated chocolate coated Marshmallow flowers
Well
I had no idea how hate melting chocolate was
…………
Don’t
you dare tell me it’s easy!
…..
Please pretend that the below image
is of fabulous looking cake pop flowers
and
not the boring plain Marshmallow that is shown!
{hang my head in shame}
yes, they are store bought cupcakes
BUT
how cute is the two sizes!
Mama and Bubba cupcakes.
On the labels I used elements from the invitation design.
I also had to name them after my fave
neutral colour.
Very Vanilla
and they were very yummy.
{no I did not make them either}
I need to have something on the
kind of heathly side!
…………….
I made these straw tags
around my paper straws
and
they also acted as “place cards”
They are a great idea for people to keep track of their drink
………..
No one but me, used their straw
they all wanted to save it and take home.
I guess that means they
liked it.
………………..
MDS is a fabulous product
and
I want everyone to love it
like I do!
………..
The options are endless!
Don’t forget you can
have a free trail of MDS
………..
Many of the images I have used in this project
are included images that come
with in the software
at $24.95
it is a amazing “toy” that you
will fall in love with!
HERE for more info or online shopping.
HERE is you are intested in joining
Stampin’ Up! and my little group
……………
Without sounding needy!
Please leave me a little
comment love!
As much as you love me updating my blog
I like to know this is being read.

Hi Teneale, This is adorable and I love it all. You will have to share where you got the adorable little glass displays with the vanilla rounds on the bottom.
I hear ya on the baking, when I had my open house for when my remodeled studio was done I was going to do cake pops in the shape of cupcakes….well I was lucky to get round cake pops done…ha! My little sister just had her first baby and this would have been adorable.
Can’t wait to see you and your Mum in SLC!
Hugs, Di
Totally love your gorgeous display Teneale. I hear you on the baking front – best left to the experts, I say!
I love all these things you have made here. They are simply gorgeous. I can’t think of anything you have created that I don’t like. You are a very talented lady.
Teneale…FABULOUS display. I have a free MDS session coming up on Friday night for customers and I think I might pinch your idea (maybe not baby shower…but maybe high tea???) I have a few cards printed out and scrapbook pages on the computer (yet to be printed) but even though I have promoted the OTP stuff, I haven’t actually done it. This has spurred me into action. Thanks. See you at convention! xx Sam
this is a GREAT idea to show case how versatile MDS is – I will also be stealing this idea – but maybe not a baby shower – hmmm… what else can we use those washing lines for???? thanks 🙂
I love your shower display table-especially the marshmallow pops-I think you may have started a new trend. Cake pops are cute, but require way too much effort (in my humble opinion). Gorgeous doesn’t have to be hugely time consuming
I am so happy to see another fabulous post from you, Teneale. You inspire all of us with your beautiful ideas. Thanks for sharing !!
I love your brain, wrapped in you! You are so clever, Teneale. I love reading your blog posts, and seeing your gorgeous work. I won’t get to stalk you at Convention this year, but I hope you have a fabulous time. Big hugs, Mazxx
I saw these on your page on Pinterest and was so impressed. You are so creative. Next you’ll have to become a party planner! Great job.
those marshmallows look anything but boring girlfriend! nice work! keep it up!
Just love the whole display. The mixed bunch stamp set with the blossom punch is one of my favorite set and you just inspired me to do a bouquet with them! (Maybe I’ll use a sucker for the middle?) I also love the wall, did you use kraft paper for the background? It’s all very cute!
This is a lovely, lovely project! MDS…YES!!! Am finding my around MDS and after the class at Convention am zooming now 🙂 Was sooo great to finally meet you face to face. I have been a huge admirer of your work for years now. Love what you do!!
Oh wow wow wow wow … what an amazing project.
I soooooooooo can’t wait for MDS to arrive in the UK – not that I like digital, but you’re persuading me … 🙂
