Welcome to the INKspired blog hop for another round! We have a good line up of players as we share cards using this sketch below that I designed for the team. I am excited to see how everyone took some of the elements, including the background layers.
I made a card for a friend from University who has just had her first daughter. It gave me a chance to watercolour the cute little bunny from Fable Friends Stamp Set which is on the retirement list, if it is on your wish list grab it before June 2nd.
I watercoloured this little guy using re-inkers that I dilute with water, the colours I used is in the product list at the end of the post. One suggestion I made is if you are doing a halo colour around an image like I have with Balmy Blue, do it before colouring the image and make sure it is totally dry. This will reduce the colours running.
A little hack I use all the time when I need a little scallop edge is cut a scrap of cardstock with one of the scallop Layering Squares Dies.
Next up is the fantastically talented Jo Wilson who has returned after sitting out the last few rounds of the INKspired blog hop. She is one of the outstanding teachers working so hard to keep kids education on track through all this craziness. Thanks Jo.
