Hello, I hope you are doing well. I feel like I have not blogged in ages, well I guess I have had a little break! I have spoken previously about returning to study as a mature age student at University; I had a few assignments due and that took most of my attention, my little stamp set was feeling a little neglected. Last week I was reunited with my stamping supplies. Craft is totally therapeutic and I am one of those crazy people that LOVE fussy cutting, one of the only times I can totally tune off my brain! My youngest niece is having a birthday this coming week, she asked to have taco’s for dinner the night of her birthday and being that crafty Aunt that I am; we are now having a Mexican fiesta.
This post in linked into the INKspired blog hop, we have 10 stops on this blog hop all using the same sketch to create our cards. If you arrived from Barbara aka my mum, you will have seen she also made a card Ebony’s birthday, we used the same paper and sketch.
Remember when I said I love fussy cutting! Yes, I hand cut the streamers from a sheet of print paper in Festive Birthday DSP and I may have suggested to my niece Ebony that she select Mexican as her cuisine on her Birthday so I could use the Birthday Fiesta product suite from Stampin’ Up! It is so CUTE! I saw the idea of placing little googly eyes on the cactus image from Sarah-Jane Rae at cardsandacuppa. I just spotted that see added a little moustache to hers, which is just adorable and I may just add one to this little guy before Ebony gets the card on Wednesday.
Next blog to stop by is new player Nicole Anderson and we have a returning player Marlene Goulder
