I am a little over excited, this is my first card on my blog for 2017 and I have skipped the last few INKpired blog hops, I have not one much stamping since November so it was nice to sit and create. I can’t quite believe that this marks 50 INKspired blog hops, if you are not familiar the team is made up of ladies from my Stampin’ Up! Team and we come together each second Sunday evening to share a card using a sketch I designed as inspiration. Below is the sketch for this round, I did comment to the girls in the team that a heart is not required or planned (with Valentines Day in a week) the heart is just to show placement for an element.
Now, I did say I have not stamped in a while; when I have stamped, I have used the same Thinlit set of dies; they are new in the Occasions catalogue see page 26 they are called Detailed Dragonfly Thinlets and you can also buy a stamp set that coordinates. This card is for one of my dearest friends who is celebrating her birthday this month, I am the worst kind of card maker because I (blush) rarely give cards away on time but I always make a special point of being early for this friend and my mum; they are both stampers and appreciate a handmade card.
Thank you for stopping by! I promise the break between cards will not be long.
The next blog to visit is the lovely Nicole Anderson
