Welcome to a very small INKspired blog hop, there is only four of us playing along this week. If you are new to my blog let me explain the INKspired blog hop to you, we are made up of members of my Stampin’ Up! Team and we gather every second Sunday to share our cards that have all been inspired by a sketch I design, below is this weeks sketch.
My creative mojo seems to be missing, I joked with team members that because I am on a term break from University my mojo has decided to take a vacation to somewhere warmer. I normally use the time when I am not snowed under in study or assignments to stamp and enjoy my creative passion but I just can not get in the crafty groove.
All week I have been playing around (in my head) with different ideas for this sketch, which really should not be that hard but I just could not pull together anything I liked. My Sunday was spent making 4 different cards using this sketch, the time was running out and I went with the first card I made! I normally am I clean “crafter” everything has a home and it is used and returned to that spot; I think because I did not have a clear plan of what I was creating, I was just pulling thing out from all over the place to “try” and nothing was put away; my craft desk is a mess! I went to take a photo to share with you but I was too impressed to share a visual of the damage I created.
Lots of new products from the Stampin’ Up! 2017/2018 Catalogue, a new Incolor called Tranquil Tide, printed paper called Naturally Eclectic and Eclectic Layers Thinlits Dies. This image below shows better the flowers, the top layer is die cut from vellum, the second layer is Shimmering Cardstock that I watercoloured with Tranquil Tide and under the die cut flowers is a watercolour wash of Pool Party ink.
Next stop on the blog hop is my friend Allison McLeod,
who will be enjoying a little term break herself very soon.
Gorgeous! You would not know your mojo was on vaca somewhere!
Lovely card, great attention to detail as always . Beautifyul
Love the layers and the colour.
