Happy Sunday. I am delighted to share the 19th INKspired Artist’s blog hop with you, if you have arrived from my talented friend Narelle Macey so you are already on the blog hop and know what is happening, if this is your first stop then HELLO. Let me catch you up, we have 7 stops on the INKspired Artist’s blog hop, we are all using the following sketch as inspiration for our cards:
In true Teneale style, I took a simple sketch and turned it into a big MESS! Well a mess on my desk as I pulled out so many dies and stamps, trying to get the right balance. I have used lots of new dies from Stampin’ Up! in this card, I am LOVING the Bold Butterfly Framelits which are a add-on to the Butterfly Thinlits from the last Occasions Catalogue. The vellum circle is from the Barker’s Box Thinlits and the “hello” is cut from Greeting Thinlits.
I am STILL is Elle – Oh – Vee – Ee LOVE! With the Color Me Irresistible Specialty DSP, which is the black paper used with the AMAZING lines. I adore the varnished designs of this paper and that was what inspired my creative mess in my craftroom as I tried to play with lustre to embrace the sheen of the Color Me Irresistible Specialty DSP. I have used clear embossing on the Bold Butterfly, using part of Open Sea for the script, the coiled Silver Metallic Thread. Adding softness and texture with the Basic Black Stitched Satin ribbon that has been folded over it’s self. I needed to mute the butterfly a little as it was too strong for the greeting so I added the vellum element between the two, the greeting was cut from Silver Glimmer Paper adding a little sparkle.
Next stop on the INKspired blog hop is the amazing Barbara Williams.
