There are just special people in the world who understand us more than others. They don’t judge when we vent or get moody; do or say stupid things; laugh with you at the smallest of things. I am blessed to have a few of these special people in my life and I thought it was time I make one of them a card to say thank you for understanding the layers of Teneale.
I used the colours from the INKspired blog hop of Terracotta Tile, Pretty Peacock, Mint Macaron and Soft Suede.
I say it every time but I really do struggle with colour challenges and this one was tricky. I like that we don’t have to use all the colours because I could not get Pretty Peacock to work for this card.
I used All Things Fabulous Photopolymer Stamp Set of the flowers with just Terracotta Tile Ink Pad, the first layer is stamped off twice to give that really light base the next layer is second generation stamping and the top layer is full strength ink.
The greeting is stamped from Rooted In Nature Cling-Mount Stamp Set and one I use a lot.
Down the side, I created a little printed paper by stamped the straw images from Jar Of Flowers Photopolymer Stamp Set. The challenge at The Spot this week was to create DSP and it has been looking at a whole new world of options.
Inside the card. This greeting comes in All Things Fabulous Photopolymer Stamp Set and is perfect for this card.
Next up on the INKspired blog hop is the delightful Jo Wilson
Here are the items I have used.
