Welcome, thanks for checking in. You may notice I have updated my layout a little, it is a work in process and a very long story which I will share once it is all complete. If you popped in last week and the site was down sorry about that, it has been a learning experience. Having said that, it has given me a little boost of creative energy, on the last INKspired blog hop I spoke of losing my mojo but tonight as I upload my images I am excited to share. Sketch by Teneale Williams

Moving on to the card I created for the INKspired blog hop today, I can’t believe we have been going for 60 hops! Way to go team. We rock. [laugh]   I must say I love every second Sunday night when out cards go live, I so enjoy seeing how everyone interprets the sketch. This week I stuck pretty much to the sketch, my bow is on the right side and the layer is a little smaller but for me, this is pretty good.

This week I was under the weather and wanted to do something (besides curl up in a ball) but nothing that required me to think too much. Hello, water colouring and fussy cutting! I hope I am not alone in finding that relaxing. This flower image from You’ve Got This is one of my favourite stamps.  I coloured a stack of images and when Saturday rolled around and I needed to create a card for this blog hop, I was delighted I had this images as back ups.

Can you see the brick wall like texture behind the flower? It is a little hard to see in my photos, sorry about that. Many of my cards have small little details that you may not notice straight away. This texture is achieved using a product called Embossing Paste, Stampin’ Up! have just released their own version, it is not an overly new technique to paper craft often it uses texture paste. You Apply the Embossing Paste over decorative masks, this was my first play around.
