I think I am in birthday session. I have so many friends having birthdays, some are getting “older” cards that I have just made and stored away while others (often crafty friends) get cards made just for them. Sometimes I need a little help to get started on a card, so I used the sketch for this weeks INKspired blog hop to get me going.
This month (May 19) Stampin’ Up! have released a Product Medley called Everything Rosy which I have already post about this month HERE. Mine arrived and sat on my desk waiting to be used, I started pinning lots of amazing cards I saw on Pinterest and blogs I have a good little collection HERE.
If I would be asked what my favourite Stampin’ Up! Product would be, it would be hard to choose between the Subtle Embossing Folder, Stamparatus and Linen Thread. Maybe Linen Thread should fall into my most used product because almost every card uses it. Did you notice the blue thread on this card?
I coloured the Linen Thread with my Dark Night of Navy Stampin’ Blend, I placed the thread on a scrap of paper and ran the thick tip of the Stampin’ Blend down the section I wanted blue. This is a trick I have been using on a few of my cards lately.
Inside the card, I have added paper like the front of the card and again a small punch of the flowers. I think I will be going back to the stamp desk with this card to stamp a greeting! I am not one to write a huge message, for I hate my hand writing.
