The time has rolled around for the INKspired blog hop, this is when some of my team of Stampin’ Up! Demonstrators come together to create a card using a challenge I set as inspiration. This round it is this sketch:
I am pretty happy with this card! The past few cards I have made are out of my normal style but it is so fun. The Strawberries and flowers are fussy cut from Berry Delightful DSP and so is the strip of red and white checks.
I wanted a chalkboard effect on the greeting, so I white embossed Happy Birthday on Basic Black cardstock and rubbed white craft ink over the top with some splatter.
Some of the details on the card. The ribbon scallop, Linen Thread and Tasteful Textile embossed Crumb Cake cardstock.
I made a matching envelope, using some of the Berry Delightful DSP. My favourite feature is the tag, it is a little chalkboard tag I found a packet of them in a variety store. I white embossed the greeting from Berry Blessings stamp set which comes with the Berry Delightful DSP as a Sale-A-Bration level two item.
