Welcome to a fresh round of the INKspired blog hop, if you have just arrived from the beautiful Renee Lynch then you are already know whats going on, if this is your first stop then let me catch you up. We have 8 INKspired Artist’s playing along this week, all using the same sketch as the inspiration for our cards. This week I had a little opps moment! I design the sketches for the team and post them months ahead of time, to the left was the first sketch I designed and then changed it to the one on the right, removing the cluster from the top corner. I forgot I changed the sketch and when I went to make my card I went on memory of the sketch…. which was the wrong sketch.
Lets just think of mine as a stepped up design and not a mistake. With this added cluster I was able to extend the greeting to “comfort & joy” the joy was cut from Christmas Greeting Thinlits the word “jolly” and I simply snipped the ll out and created “joy”.
I just adore my card this week, well not sure it is my card so much as the CUTE little Rudolph that is featured. I saw a card from Kimberly Van Diepen (see it HERE) and it had me chopping into my Home for Christmas Designer Series Paper so fast to have little vintage reindeer’s to create with.
I cut a lot of reindeer’s so I also embellished a Cafe page to be given with my card. I am so loving the pom pom ribbon and the gold Glitter ribbon that is under the music note printed paper.
Well that is enough of me, now I send you off to visit with more of the team; starting with my talented little Mum Barbara Williams.
Materials used:
Beautiful, love love love your cutting out of Bambi. Bet you sell lots of this paper just to replicate your card.
Love your card and bag Teneale and great fussy cutting of those little deers. It comes together beautifully.
Love it Love it Love it! This is such a “deer” little set (lol) all puns aside, I do so love this paper it would be awesome if you could get just this one with the reindeers in a 12 pack!
Is there anything else to say other than amazing. Your fussy cutting is perfection and I love the vintage look using the red and crumb cake. Simply beautiful.
