Happy first of November, can I put up my Christmas tree yet? I love my Christmas tree, but I know I need to wait until at least the first of December. This weekend I started writing in some of the Christmas cards that I have already made and here I was thinking that I had made so many but when I gathered them together I am WAY off.
Today’s creation I have to share is linked into the INKspired sketch blog hop, it is a smaller hop then normal this round but still packed with amazing cards that are all based on the same sketch that I team for the team, you may already be on the hop arriving from Barbara Williams or otherwise known as my Mum.
What do to think of the sketch? It had mixed reviews from the INKspired Artists. I have been excited for this sketch to roll around and play. I had a few different ideas rolling around in my head but after discovering I need so many more Christmas cards, a whole new idea was born. I pulled out my Little Letter Thinlit dies to create JOY, circle Thinlits to cut the music note paper which is from the Home for Christmas DSP and the holly is fussy cut from a design of printed paper in Season of Cheer DSP range.
Over the letters and berries (on the holly) I applied a double coat of Crystal Effects.
The next stop on the INKspired blog hop is the wonderful Lissa Carter.
Here are the items used to order online.
W O W !!!!! Just W O W! This just blew me away. WOW

Teneale, I love this card. It’s the best Christmas card I’ve seen this year.

OMG so beautiful Teneale! Love that you have double glazed with crystal effects for that extra WOW factor!
This is so beautifully done. I love how you used the sun’s rays in back of the ‘O” – so subtle but so striking. What size card is this Teneale??
In the US, some people start decorating for Christmas on Thanksgiving day or the day after 😉

T, your attention to the little details always blows me away. On first look, this is so clean, simple & elegant, but then you see the soft rays, the crystal effect on the letters & hand-cut holly, & the tiny glimmer stars which all make it so very special. Love it!
