Well hello. Perfect timing, there is a fresh round of the INKspired blog hop. You may already be on the blog hop if you arrived from new Mumma Renee or this is your first stop. We have 6 cards all based on the below sketch.
I am the sketch maker and rule breaker. I flipped the layout, it was all going to plan until I attached the card from to the folder base the wrong way. I used a LOT of Stampin’ Dimensionals and that stripe layer was not coming up so I simply removed the flower and turned in around. The pearls represent the grey circles on the layout. I stand by sketches can have a lot little creative license.
Two tones of purple were used in watercolouring this flower from Birthday Blooms to add extra depth. Perfect Plum was used as the foundation colour with a little Elegant Eggplant added to tone the highlights of the top half of the flower, which is the inside petals as the flower opens.
