The new Annual Catalogue has been live for just under a week and I have shared to cards both are using Free As A Bird! Clearly, it is a favourite and for good reason, it is adorable. The card I can sharing today uses the sketch for the 99th round of INKspired Artists, we hit 100 in two weeks. Stay tuned for our 100th celebration, with everything going to plan we will have some old faces going us for this milestone blog hop and prizes along the blog hop and exciting plans for the future blog hops. Make sure you come back on 23rd June.
Here is the sketch for this round, it is a classic layout that I use often. As per normal, I have used a little creative license on the sketch. The twine is a little lower and the bow moved to the left. Notice the ripped edge? That was totally not planned, I had watercoloured that layer in Calypso Coral and embossed it with the Subtle embossing folder, then it seemed like a good idea to sew the edge. Well that idea was a disaster, the stitching was too tight (a new machine and I had the wrong tension) I throw the said layer across my craft room thinking I had ruined the card (yes, I can be a little dramatic at times). After a little procrastination, I retrieved the cardstock and decided to cover over my mistake and the best was of doing so was adding some ripped layers. As it turned out, I like this option much better.
I adore the image of birds on the branch, the stamp image as four birds but I cut this one down to three using the circle die. The end of the branch and flowers was then fussy cut and added back into the image. We class ladies are making this card in class this week so I have given a few of them that don’t enjoy intricate trimming quite as much as I do.
The image below shows the inside of my card. A little ripped watercolour paper top and bottom with some flowers that have also been fussy card before being added to the corner.
Now it is time to hop over to the wonderfully talented Jo Wilson, and you will see she has very similar tastes to me.
Product List. Below is everything that I used in the card besides the embossing folder on the Pool Party, that just retired and I did not realise until I was preparing this blog post. Click on the image of the item you are interested in or click HERE to head to my online store
I adore everything you create but this card might be my absolute fave!!!

Teneale,
Your cards are some of my very favorites. I love how you use the tiny layers to add subtle interest. How in the world do you cut them so perfectly? Thanks for sharing your amazing talent. I admire your work so much!
