Inspiration Challenge 20

April 9, 2010

inspiration-20-line.jpg

Its Friday again and I can honestly say what a week! I have been fighting a cold all week but it got the better of me today and I feel shocking….so I am keeping this short. Makeesha came up with a good challenge this week….

makeesha-inspiration-challenge-20.JPG

Well this is what I came up…. Not sure if I like this one but I was given a challenge earlier in the week to make a “bad” card so Melanie…. here you go I have completed your challenge…. {lol} I have used the NEW In Colour Soft Suede and good old Sahara Sand, I have also used Autumn Traditions Printed Papers from the Autumn Winter Mini Catalogue, I did not use many stamps on this card which is rare for me I have cut the “leaf” from the Printed Papers then applied Crystal effects over the top to make it pop a little.

Inside the card…. lots of layers like the front but I left room for me to write my message.

Gosh Teneale, I wish my bad cards were as good as this. I love this monochromatic look. I don’t think this card qualifies at all for the ‘bad card’ challenge.

Love the monochromatic feel and look of your card, very creative using the paper instead of stamps for the main focal point.

Gorgeous, inside and out!!! I really like the colours you paired and all of the delicate textures. I’m sorry, Teneale, but you’ll all to try again for that bad card, because this ain’t it! ;D

    Hi Teneale,

I hope you are starting to feel a little better 🙂 Your work is such beautiful art. Every card is really 2 cards in one, as the inside is as lovely as the outside! (Just like you!) Every project you post is a pure joy to behold, I don’t think you could make a bad card if you tried!

Stunning Teneale!! Love how you’ve used DP and glossed it up. It makes you want to reach out and touch it. All the layers are beautiful too. I love your take on the challenge for this week.

Lovely card, Teneale, despite your best intensions for a “bad” card. What a great idea to use Crystal Effects on the dp image. I am a new visitor to your blog and really love what you do. Thanks for sharing
