Goodness me, the silly season is truly upon us! I am known for my love of all things Christmas but this year I have not shared many of my Christmas cards and I really should have! I promise that will be rectified shorty. It is perfect timing that I speak of Christmas cards, the INKspired Artists have a blog hop showcasing our favourite stamp set from the Holiday Catalogue (view online HERE).
For me, the star of the show is always Santa so no major surprise my favourite stamp set is Holly Jolly Christmas from page 26. I have stamped him on Whisper White cardstock and coloured using Blends, Cherry Cobbler for his suit and hat with Crumb Cake gloves, Mossy Meadow for the overflowing sack and Daffodil Delight with Old Onlibe for the gifts.
While we are talking about my favourite things, I need to bring your attention to the Snowfall Accents Puff Paint on page 19! This stuff is magic, it applies like glue but when heat set the paint ‘puffs’ and I have used this on the calf of Santas suit.
Santa may be the star but he needs his team so I just had to add a little #Elfie from page 22 inside the card.
Notice that puff paint on the north pole? How good does it look?
Next up to the delightful and amazing Jo Wilson, I am always excited to see what Jo creates and hope it uses Blends or watercolouring as she is so good at colouring.
