It is time to get fancy with past and current Stampin’ Up! Artisans in our monthly Fancy Friday blog hop, this months theme is favourites from the new Annual Catalogue. That was a no brainer for me, I based my selection on stamp set I have used the most in the short few weeks the catalogue has been live. Free As A Bird Cling Stamp Set which funny enough I used for last months Fancy Friday blog hop see here and I also used it for one my first blog post of the month see here.
I used my Stampin’ Blends (Highland Heather, Soft Sea Foam, Pool Party and Crumb Cake) to colour the image after stamping it with Tuxedo Black Memento Ink on Whisper White A4 Card Stock. Notice that sweet scallop edge, I used the Stitched Be Mine Dies to create it this was a favourite item carried over from the Occasions catalogue.
My next favourite item is the Scripty 3D Embossing Folder, look at the fine detail it has impressed into the Pool Party A4 Card Stock. I must share a tip, if using the Big Shot with the new 3D folders need a cardstock shim of about 4 or 5 sheets to really get a good impression, Stampin’ Up! have released a 3D embossing plate that means no shim see it HERE.
I also lightly wiped my Whisper White Stampin’ Craft Pad over the embossing to highlight the script and really made a difference.
Inside the card, I stamped this lovely greeting Special Celebrations with two flowers on each side. A simple yet pretty inside, I think.
Thank you for stopping by my blog
