Oh yes my friends, as the title to this post states, I have been inspired by the King, Brian King that is! The King of Stampin’ is the feature artist at Global Design Project this week. We were given the image below and our challenge is to CASE Brian’s card. What does CASE mean? There are many definitions of CASE (Copy And Steal Everything, Copy And Share Everything), but in this situation the definition is Copy And Selectively Edit. This means you can be inspired by ANYTHING on this card. Head over to the Global Design Project (HERE) to see our the design team have taken Brian’s card and also the players gallery.
I took the challenge to create a Winter Christmas card as I have not made many due to my Christmas always being HOT, one of those things living in Australia and we are in Summer at Christmas time. The layout, also inspired me; I have used the silhouette images of trees and a reindeer on a hill in place of Brian’s Penguin’s and greeting placement was also inspired from Brian. Snowflakes become stars on my creation. I am loving my card, and loved getting all inky creating the background.
I hope you have all your Christmas cardmaking under control, we are just under 1 month until Christmas. Here are the items used, simple click for more info on the product and to start shopping online and your order will be shipped Australia wide.
I just LOVE it !!! Your background is amazing and contrast with black stamped image just wonderful !
Such a GORGEOUS backdrop, Teneale. I’m in awe of your work and honored that you created something so lovely from my silly, little penguins – so happy you played along this week. Thanks, too, for your lovely words about me. So kind. Hello, world…I’ve been CASED by Teneale Williams!
