Love new stamps

April 13, 2009

friends-24-7-blue-bird-line.jpg
I just love how new stamps and supplies can bring back your Mojo….I think it’s safe to say my “dry” spell is over, For the past few months I just feel like I had lost my Mojo, My “wow” factor….But I have been making a few cards this week using some of my new stamps and I feel like I have it back, This is just the start of the new cards….. I know they are good cards because My Sister {who does not really get the Cardmaking/stamping thing} said she liked them….. SHOCK.

Anyway, I have used Friends 24-7 and A Rose is a Rose to create this card. I must say these are my two Favourite sets from the new Catty…….SO MANY nice sets but…. AND the new papers…..OMG……… You will see over the next few posts I am loving the new papers. Just a couple of things on this card, I have used the new Build a Brad {which I loooooove} I attached a large Pearl from the Pretties kit in the centre and following the “flag” trend that is huge in Papercraft at the moment I cut a strip of paper then using my square punch I just create the V {SO much easier then just cutting it cut with paper snips}

    Beautiful work Tenealle! Thanks for the tip about using the square punch for the “flag”! I had struggled doing this with scissors and didn’t think of that solution!

    Gorgeous card Teneale. The sensible person in me ummed and aahhed about getting this set as I’d already got lots of sets in my first order – looks like I might have to get it in the next order!

    Great to hear your mojo is back.

    Yay Teneale is back way to go.
    I don’t even like blue but I think I need to have that paper and that stamp set.
    Please don’t leave it to long to show us some more.
