How in the world is it April, already! I mean, this crazy year is flying. I realised the Stampin’ Up! retiring list will come out soon, I think it is at the end of the month. I feel like I may be buying a few more stamps this month, being home more as I isolate I have made a few cards this week and that always has me looking at what stamps I don’t have. Why, is it they are the ones I want to use.
This card is an older one, remember a few weeks ago when I checked a card (see here) and could not name the technique, well it was triple layer stamping but with only two layers. Thanks to crafty friends on Facebook I worked it out.
I was thinking of triple-layer stamping technique using only two layers, I found a much better tutorial than I prepared (see here). I love how the image expands over the main layer, by colouring the main panel it spotlights the colouring.
I used Stampin’ Blends in Petal Pink, Soft Sea and Crumb Cake.
I have white embossed the greeting on Crumb Cake Card Stock and added a little whitewash over the top using watered down acrylic paint which I also used to add splatter over the colouring.
Inside the card, I have added a strip of Magnolia Lane Designer Series Paper which the DSP that coordinates with the Good Morning Magnolia Cling Stamp Set.
I have left lots of room to write my message.
Your card is stunning Teneale, Stay Safe!
Absolutely beautiful Teneale! I love seeing your gorgeous style.xx
I love this Teneale, as well as the Forever Blossoms one! Did you stamp the image in Basic Gray like in the Forever Blossoms one? How do you find the Blends work with our normal ink pads? Anyway, well done!
