Trendy and cool are two words that I would never use to describe my stamping style (or myself) none the less I am trying to be both with today’s card for the Fancy Friday blog hop, which the theme is ‘case’ the catalogue! I decided to pick something from the Occasions Catalogue and on page 18 I found a fun card that caught my eye with the circles and sewing detail.
I used the Flowering Desert stamp set for my recreation of the stunning card sample above. I am not sure how I feel about my card, I was happy with it while making it but now I am not so sure! As I said at the start of the post, I am not really trendy and Cactus is very on trend with all the cool kids… Which I am really not.
The details that hooked me into casing this card, I just love layering and stitching.
Inside the card, I have watercoloured like I did on the front and carried the elements from the front through while leaving room to write a message.
Next up on the Fancy Friday blog hop is my favourite New Zealander Paula Dobson
