The last Friday of the month I join some past and present Artisan’s for a blog hop called Fancy Friday, the may theme is printed paper! I have a weakness to papers. I have gotten better at using my papers, I used to collect more than use.
I was hard to decide which paper range to use, I decided to go with a new release from the upcoming Annual Catalogue called Free As a Bird. The main image has been fussy cut from one of the paper designs. I only used stamps for the greetings, I tried to use printed paper where I could.
How cute is the key embellishment? They are also coming out June 4th with a bow, flower and leaf trinket
Inside the card. I stamped the greeting both inside and card front onto Come Sail Away paper, it has a sheet of vintage newsprint.
As the challenge is all about paper, I made an envelope to house my card. I special shout out to my mum (stamping barb) for being my wonderful hand model. To open, unwind the linen thread that has been looped around the buttons.
On the bottom right corner I have “deliver to Sara” which I stamped with Make a Difference stamp set.
Inside the envelope, I am pretty happy with this creation. I hope you are inspired to get using your papers.
Next up on the Fancy Friday blog hop is the amazing Elizabeth Price
Teneale, you amaze me with EVERYTHING you create. WOW! WOW! WOW! Hugs from Nashville!
Truly a card of beauty 🙂
I have vowed to no longer hoard my beautiful DSP … I have paper from nearly 20 years ago, when I first got hooked on SU. It’s nice to hear there are others just like me.
Please keep doing what you do … you are an inspiration to us all (((hugs)))

Unfortunately, I’m still fighting the hoarder tensions. I’m really trying hard! I found DSP from five years ago I didn’t even know I had! Shocked! It’s an ongoing battle I intend to win! (I hope!). Love your projects. I wanted to know what you call the envelope so that I can look online to find directions to learn how to make? With this DSP it looks stunning! TFS!
