I am the luckiest girl I know, I am getting two Stampin’ Up! Convention in one year, last week I attended and presented at the Australian Convention down in Melbourne and in 50 days {yes I am counting} I leave for U.S Convention in SALT LAKE CITY! OMG exciting…… I think I have come home the most inspired ever from this convention and I just want to “share” Stampin’ Up! With everyone I know.
I got to Melbourne a few days before Convention started to take in what Melbourne offered and catch up with friends and fellow demos, one of the best parts of Stampin’ Up! Is all the friendships I have formed. I did not make swap cards this year which felt a little strange not swapping and I have decided I will make sure I always swap in the future because it is such a great way to talk with people and trade ideas. The reason I did not make swaps was I was doing a Workshop WOW which had taken a huge amount of my time. I was so excited when Sharron West called to asked if I would do a WOW, I had lots of ideas however in the end I keep it simple and showed the thing I do best….bows plus a few tricks I have picked up about ribbon. I was the last one of the six demo’s showing a WOW and I was booked in for the last WOW on the last day in the last session…… but I was not nerves at all which is a little worrying really but I just wanted to get it done.
Here is a photo that the very sweet Sue Madex emailed me this week showing me on stage and every time I went to show a finished card the cameras that went up to take a photo.
I have already received many emails asking for a video of my presentation so I hope I am not breaking any rules I had a friend record my WOW presentation on the main stage, I had her do it as I used to be a corporate trainer and it was an exercise I used to do, recording my talks so I could view them later to review and improve but seeing so many people have asked to see it again I have uploaded it to YouTube for you all.
I will crop the photos of my cards and post them over the next week days. I have lots going on personally at the moment so please feel free to email me with questions but it may take a few days from me to reply but please do email me…. I love hearing from you.
Hi Teneale!
It was lovely catching up with you again this year. Congratulations on the fantastic job you did with your WOW. I am thrilled to see the video of it too, cause I can’t remember how you showed your bows!!!
Best wishes for a fun time at Salt lake City too. Wish I could see you in action over there. Knock em dead!
Hi Teneale, wow…. you truly are inspirational. I will definitely be trying out the techniques you showed us on this tutorial, thank you so much for sharing! It’s also so lovely to know how you look and sound, as following a blog is great but it can be so one dimensional.
I feel I know you a bit better from watching this clip *waves* and I can’t wait to go to my first every SU convention this November in Disneyland Paris.
I love your cards and aspire to be at least half as good as you one day!
Luv Lynne

You are a genuine sweetie Teneale. With all that you have on at the moment to take time to do this is amazing! Thanks heaps.
Thank you so much for the Video, I could not believe it when they told me you did a WOW ribbon presentation at convention, that was certainly one WOW I would love to have been there for. I didn’t attend this year as I am no longer a demo, but I still love stalking your Blog as your cards are just so beautiful. Can’t wait to try it out with some of the gorgeous seam binding I have, will upload & give you credit when I do.
Have a great time in Utah, what a fabulous opportunity.
Cheers Fiona x
Hoping some of your talent transferred to me when you gave me that AWESOME Squeezy Hug!!
Hi Teneale, thankyou again for posting this video up. Your WOW was awe inspiring and I love that you remember the ‘oldy’ cards that were just as decorated on the inside as the outside. It reminds me of the ones my gran always seemed to find in the shops. I love your work and am now stalking your blog from time to time for inspiration.
Thank you so much for sharing this with us all, Teneale. You did such a marvellous job.
I was very excited to watch you do this in person at Convention and am equally chuffed that I can now review over and over.
I love all your beautiful work that you share and aspire to, one day, having the tiniest amount of your talent and inspiration.
Enjoy Salt Lake City – I hope you have an absolute blast!

Hi Teneale, Love your presentation … you are magic with a ribbon!
I was so spell bound I forgot to take notes and love your anywhere glue and ribbon trick! Thank you.
well what can i say it was just awesome watching you do what you do best i will have to have another go at making a ruffle as yes i was originally shown this using tape and after a few times it just didnt stick right so i will just have to get the glue stick out and have another go.Thanks Teneale and Georgina for making the video for all of us that didnt get to go.
I did not make it to convention this year, so thankyou soooo much for putting this here. I wish everyone did it.
You definitely have a way with bows and all things ribbon.
Thanks so much for posting this video Teneale. It’s so good to see how you do your fabulous bows. I haven’t seen that technique before – I’m off to try it now 🙂
OMG Teneale you were so brillant. I just love your work and to see you up there on stage made my convention. I loved your bow tieing….I was one of the ladies watching again on Saturday evening when you had your friends blouse tie showing us again. I have given your way a try a few times but just not quite mastering it yet…I have always been a rabbit ear person myself tieing bows. So glad you get to go to the USA convention, you deserve it. You will make Australia proud with your work. Thanks heaps again and enjoy your time away.
OMG! Thanks so much for putting up the video. I am in the middle of making a card for my gorgeous upline – the very quiet and controlled (I know I am being funny!!!!) Madonna Dunn, who celebrates her birthday on Saturday 28th May. Of course there is a whole lot of Daffodil Delight (as it makes her happy) and to finish I needed a Teneale Bow and got muddled while trying it. Viola- a video to help. Yah! You do bows best and I do making an idiot of myself competing in game shows!!! (You had to be at Convention…hey girls!) Have a blast at US convention. Hugs M

I found you by accident on the web and I can’t tell you how lucky I feel to have seen your work and your demo’s. You make the most beautiful cards I’ve ever seen. I only wish I had a fraction of your talent. You are a talented woman who’s generosity in sharing your talent is amazing. Each piece you create is filled with love, it shows. You are amazing, thank you.
WOW, fabulous presentation and so kind of you to share it with those of us who couldn’t make Convention this year. Thank you! Love the way you tie your bows. Definitely going to try that soon.
Have an awesome time in Utah you lucky duck.
Thanks so much for sharing your workshop wow. Having the video made it so easy to follow along. I grabbed myself a piece of ribbon and worked on it at the same time as you.
It’s people like you that make this such a great sharing community!
