The year is flying! It is time to think about Mothers day cards.
I am joining a group of Stampin’ Up! Demonstrators from
around world to share some ideas for Mothers day.
For the card I am sharing for Mothers day: I have used a stamp
set that was a mainly Easter theme, called Basket Bunch and as a matter
of fact I used the same stamp set for the Theme Dream blog hop (see here)
last month and a baby card that I have not posted yet. It is a great set.
The flowers have been stamped using Stampin’ Up! Classic ink pads on
Shimmer paper and to prevent the stamp image from bleeding when you
watercolour let it totally dry for about an hour. Using a well-loved blender
pen, I mean one that you would think is dry and should be thrown away.
I am truly blessed to have a totally AMAZING mum who a LOVE beyond words,
she knows I think the world of her, my nieces and I are always telling her how
much we love her and grateful for all the little things she does for our family.
Here is the inside of my card, I have coloured one of the flowers like the
front of the card and added a greeting from the same stamp set as the
front, it is actually a Birthday greeting set but I think they work well.
Now, it is time to hop over to New Zealand to visit
with my fabulous friend Patrice Halliday-Larsen

So sweet Teneale! The hexagon background looks beautiful behind your flowers. Great design! 🙂
