The Fancy Friday challenge for October was way too much fun to pass up! It is an Annual Holiday Mixer, the goal is to create a card showcase something from the Annual Catalogue and the (newest) Holiday Catalogue. This also marks my first Christmas card posted on my blog for the year, I officially give your warning that this blog will become Christmas heavy in content! I L-O-V-E Christmas, I already have Christmas carols playing in my car (which might be sung at the top of my voice as I drive around), I have half my Christmas shopping complete and I am driving my family, well mostly my sister in ‘what our plans are for Christmas week’. Did I say, I L-O-V-E Christmas?
I have taken the Toile Christmas Cling Stamp Set from the Holiday Catalogue and the Heirloom Frames Dies And 3D Embossing Folder from the Annual Catalogue. In Australia, we do not have Cardinal birds as they are found in North and South America however, they are still an image often feature the Cardinal at Christmas time as they symbolise faith, hope, and love. I found a really sweet article about the Cardinal HERE.
The Heirloom Frames Dies And 3D Embossing Folder was one product from the Annual Catalogue that I was most excited about, I love being able to cut and emboss ornate frames. In this card I have used the oval design and the rectangle design I used a little while ago HERE, just a tip when using them, cut the shape and then emboss the design.
Inside the card, this greeting and foliage come in the Toile Christmas Bundle, I totally suggest getting invest in the dies if you are thinking about buying Toile Christmas Cling Stamp Set. Don’t forget the bundle is reduced by 10%.
I am so excited to see what the amazing Elizabeth Price has created for this Fancy Friday Annual Holiday Mixer blog hop.
