Am I alone in struggling to come to terms with the fact it is MARCH already, the only joy I am feeling with the arrival of 1st of March is the start of Autumn in Australia and I am looking forward to a little cooler weather after the hottest summer in recorded history. A new month normally brings a new offer from Stampin’ Up!, this month they released Sale-A-Bration Coordination the name may give it away but extra products that coordinate with popular items in the Sale-A-Bration range. I am a sucker and brought them all besides the Call Me Cupcake Framelits Dies, I was most excited about the Hop Around Framelits Dies (a few weeks ago I spoke about my love of the So Hoppy Together Stamp Set HERE). The other new item which sent my heart racing at the possibilities was the Four Seasons dies that work with the second release level two Painted Seasons bundle and the star of this blog post, in the bundle you receive the shown below stamp set and paper.
I am sharing a simple card I made using both the flower images in the set which I stamped in So Saffron and Calypso Coral, one at full strength and the other stamped off. The leaves are all stamped in Pear Pizzazz, inking them just once and continued stamping using lighter generation tones of the green.
This 7-piece Distinktive cling stamp set can work for so many different seasons by simply changing the colours you stamp with, I have taken inspiration the approaching Autumn change. It is not showing very well in the photography however, I did emboss the Whisper White cardstock with the Subtle Dynamic Textured Impressions Embossing Folder I think I use that embossing folder every week in my classes.
Here is inside the card. I have kept it fairly open to which occasion I could use this card for by placing “for you” on the front and at this stage not stamping a greeting inside, I can have this card as a back up with I need a quick card.
