We are having the yuckiest weather today in Sydney its cold and wet…. prefect stamping weather I say! to help get my creative mojo going I popped over to one of my favourite sketch challenge sites…. i{heart}2stamp to check out the new sketch for this week…. I must say I {heart} this sketch!
Here is my Party Penguin….how CUTE is this little guy I have seen lots of creative ideas using the Stampin’ Up! Owl punch all over the web and I wanted to have a play myself, I have used quite a few punches on this card. The Owl Punch to create the Penguin I trimmed of the “ears”, the balloons are ¾” circles, and star punch was used on the party hat, the little triangle of the balloons and also for the noise.
As you know I LOVE doing the inside of my card and I am super happy with this one, because I stamped Happy Birthday on the front I added a little banner inside saying to you…..when you say it all together….. happy birthday to you……. the star punch was also using to make the banner.
All Materials are from Stampin’ Up! and ordered from me
Stamps: Party Hearty, Occasional Quotes and Party this Way
Ink: Basic Black, Pumpkin Pie and Rose Red
Paper: Whisper White, Pumpkin Pie, Rose Red and Sweet & Sour DSP

super super cute Teneale – I love it – the colours, the flags and most of all that gorgeous penguin!!!!
What an adorable card! So clever to use the owl punch to make a penguin!! And I really love how the inside is equally as lovely as the front.
Teneale, I LOVE it! I’ve never seen something of yours that I didn’t like, and this is certainly no exception. He’s cute, cute – and I love your banner too. Thanks for sharing the tip with using the star punch; I just did one with the pennant stamp from Party This Way – it was quite big. I love your bow, too – you do perfect ribbon treatment. Well done.
What a gorgeous, bright, fun b’day card! I love it, you come up with the best ideas!
Soooooooo gorgeous Teneale! These are not usually my colours, but this card is totally adorable and I want to have it! Thanks for the great tip about the star punch, would not have thought that laterally myself! My “Teneale card to CASE” file is getting pretty full, LOL!!! Wonderful inspiration, as always.

whats not to love about this lttle guy. So sweet and I love the Sweet & Sour dsp, as I have it myself.
Cute Cute Cute … I “need” that owl punch … this is absolutely adorable. Did you see that this month’s Caardvarks challenge is to make a card that is decorated on the inside & outside … this certainly fits the bill.
Simply SUPER!! How much fun is this card. It just makes you smile!
The more I see that owl punch being used, the more I think “maybe I do want it…”. That penguin is flippin’ cute! The colours are great and I love the inside too.
Hi Teneale… I had a chuckle at you asking for comment love, thinking surely you wouldn’t be lacking in that with your gorgeous creations…. and then realised that I often see your lovely cards but because I see them in a reader, I rarely actually take the opportunity to let you know how lovely they are…. I’m such a naughty lurker!! I totally LOVE your cutie penguin… and using the star punch to make your banner – awesomely clever!

Your b’day card is adorable. And your design and clean and neat. My favorite! Thanks for sharing!
Teneale-I have never seen another stamper with the talent and ability you have to combine dsp in such flattering combinations. You make the look fresher and show them in a new light. Even paper I was not attracted to in the slightest bit comes out looking fabulous when you lay your heart and hands on it. Stampin’ UP! should beg you to design for them. You are truly an inspiration and I am in awe of you. Thank you for sharing..I consider it a gift to look at your artwork.
wow… sooo sweet!
Teneale, I am posting a link to this card on my blog post tomorrow because I cased your little penguin guy on my card. I am a huge fan of yours and love everything you do! Love your style!! Thanks again for the inspiration!
