I am slowly getting my Christmas cards made, this year I need to have them completed by the end of October as I am heading to Orlando at the start of November and when I get back I don’t want to stress about getting Christmas cards made. Today I am sharing two cards using Peaceful Poinsettia bundle which includes the stamp set and Detailed Poinsettia Thinlit Dies.
I have used Stampin’ Blends to colour the Poinsettia in Cherry Cobbler, Old Olive and Crumb Cake.
On the background I have used the Detailed Poinsettia Thinlit Dies to emboss by using the Big Shot Embossing Mats.
If you have not seen the Big Shot Embossing Mats in action, I have added the video that Stampin’ Up! made. It is pretty cool.
The second card is a little simpler, I have added a strip of printed paper from Festive Farmhouse DSP pack. Are you looking at the Cherry Cobbler cardstock and thinking ‘gee, that texture is nice’ well, it is! I have used the BEST embossing folder ever created. It is called Subtle Dynamic Textured Embossing Folder it adds a light texture.
