Christmas is really getting closer! I am halfway through my Christmas shopping, going good with Christmas cards. Doing 12 weeks of Christmas with mum has been a great help getting different cards made. This week I enjoyed working with the Peaceful Place suite.
I was drawn to the Peaceful Place printed paper, it is black and white with Basic Gray, Smoky Slate and silver.
Using Blending Brushes I applied Highland Heather ink for a stunning sky. In the Peaceful Cabin stamp set there is a small snowflake background which I stamped in Highland Heather and added a layer of white paint splatted.
I love ribbon, which is pretty clear by the fact I have a collection of ribbon spools in my backgrounds but I don’t use it often in my cards. I did use white string to start with but it just wasn’t right. I pulled out Whisper White Crinkled Seam Binding Ribbon and coloured it with Highland Heather Stampin’ Blends,
Inside the card, the greeting is from Peaceful Cabin and I really love it. I highlighted peace by stamping it on scrap paper that I practised sponging on.
Now pop over to see what mum Stamping Barb created using Peaceful Place suite.
