I have taken on the hugely popular Peaceful Poppies suite from the Stampin’ Up! Mini Catalogue again, this time around I have used traditional poppy colours unlike my first attempt a few weeks ago (see HERE).
I am very much a fan of stamping and this whole using dies as the feature of my card are starting to grow on me… the only stamping is the greetings.
The Poppy Moments Dies are stunning, I have cut the flower from Peaceful Poppies Designer Series Paper for the backing layer and added a little splatter with diluted Poppy Parade Classic Stampin’ Ink Refill. The top layer is Poppy Parade Cardstock with two layers of Basic Black Card Stock of the stamen.
The leaves are layered also with the Peaceful Poppies Designer Series Paper as the base and Mossy Meadow A4 Cardstock for the top layer. The Peaceful Poppies Designer Series Paper has sheets that are watercolour washes on one of the sides, it is truly stunning papers. The black and white stripe paper was part of Sale-A-Bration, I adore paper designs in strips or dots as they just work with everything!
Inside the card is not overly exciting. I have added a smaller flower to the bottom and a greeting from Itty Bitty Birthdays Cling Stamp Set which is a go to stamp set for me.
Tell me if you agree, I am totally missing something inside the card or more on the centre of the flower! I am not sure why I did not add a black stamen to this smaller flower. Should I go and add one?
Thank you for stopping me. I hope you are all staying safe, home if you are able and to those working in essential services and health care, thank you.

I like the inside because it’s simple and doesn’t overwhelm.
I love this!
I adore stamping, and it’s been a struggle for me as well to use the dies, with only the sentiment stamped! I’m glad I’m not the only one! – it’s just such a beautiful die though isn’t it!? Your card is, as always, stunning. ❤️
