Every Stampin’ Up! fan knows they kick the year off with an annual promotion called Sale-A-Bration the best time of the stamping year because we get FREE stamps or accessories when we spend $90 (level one) or $180 (level two).
For the INKspired blog hop I made that the theme, we are going to showcase some of our favourite Sale-A-Bration items.
Now, I know that my pick is not for everyone but I LOVE the Darling Donkeys stamp set. I have always called people who are being silly a donkey or even as a term of indearment “oh you little donkey, I love you” to my nieces when they so something cute. I was one of the only the get excited when I first saw the Sale-A-Bration range.
I knew I wanted to make it a sweet valentines card for oldest niece. Yes, I give them little gifts and cards for valentines!
I found a greeting in Parcels and Petals that said “somebody loves you lots & lots” I took out body and replaced it with ‘donkey’. I chopped up greetings from Silhouette Scenes. I think it is funny and that Bailey will love it!
I coloured the image with Stampin’ Blends, I found Gray Granite was just that little bit lighter than Smoky Slate. You might notice I fussy cut the head to add a little extra detail.
Inside the card, I stamped a greeting from Here’s A Card Cling Stamp Set which carries the greeting from the front of the card.
Next stop is Sharon Arklay who is celebrating her BIRTHDAY today!
