Sahara Peace

November 20, 2009

a-wish-for-peace-sahara-peace-line.jpg

I hope your not sick of Christmas cards yet because I have another one today sticking with the simple and elegant theme, this time using “A Wish of Peace” which is such a lovely set. The Background was wheeled with the “Soft Holly” using Sahara Sand ink. The dove was stamped in Sahara Sand, and I have added a little glitter to the wings which you can’t see very well in the photo. The centre of the ribbon is a Build A Brad with a Pearl from the Pretties kit attached.

Just a short post today, I am still trying to finish my swaps for Stampin’ Up! Sydney Regional training this weekend and I always have the grandest ideas for my swaps and never realise how long they take to make and I still have a long way to go to get them finished by the morning in between my classes today…..

I stumbled across your blog for the first time today. Your work is amazing! You certainly are an asset to SU! and I am glad you decided to stay. I am also a demo (in the US) and will be checking back regularly to admire your beautiful work!

Stunning. Love the embossed background, with the ‘unembossed’ panel of Sahara Sand directly on top of it (wow, that wasn’t worded very well, was it?). The contrasts in texture are great!

    Hi Teneale,

I’m so glad you got your swaps finished as I was lucky enough to receive one. Thanks for not being a ‘swap snob’ LOL, as your swap was much fancier than mine. I was just thrilled to receive a Teneale original as I love your work. Have a great week,

    Cheers,
    Fiona
