Last Friday with Barbara/Mum we started our 12 weeks of Christmas countdown by showcasing Merry Patterns Stamp set and this week Barbara selected Santa’s Suit as the Stamp Set for use to both use! I was excited to play with cute set of images, it is funny however Santa seems to make washing on a clothes line look adorable!
I often think ‘Do I need to buy Framelits?’ When I like a stamp set, knowing that I do save 10% when I buy them in a bundle, however, the thought is still there ‘could I just cut them by hand?’ Well, let me say in this case, get the framelits or don’t get this set, trust me!
Inside the card, keeping it very simple. Happy Christmas is from Oh, What Fun Photopolymer Stamp Set which I also used above for the HO HO HO.
I made an envelope for the card to be slipped in, no plan envelope as you can see. I have stamped the artline images of Santa’s coat, pants, hat, gloves and boots plus ho ho ho with VersaMark onto Kraft Gift Bags. I should highlight that the Kraft Gift Bag makes a fabulous envelope and they are in the Australian Clearance Rack for a BARGAIN! $2.50 for 10 bags. With Christmas, fastly approaching I ordered a few extras to use for packaging gifts also.
Just to show you the card with envelope, I think they look great together. I just adore Santa’s hat held with a peg to the twine bow on the envelope.
