As a child I never wanted to go to bed the night before special days like my birthday, Easter, Christmas or even thinking the tooth fairy was visiting, I would drive my mum crazy. The older I have gotten, the less exciting things seem. Well, that was until I found craft. It is almost embarrassing how excited I get in the lead-up to new Stampin’ Up! catalogues, even worse when I can pre-order from new products and I don’t think I can share the tails of extreme excitement when the order of new toys product arrives! Oh, that poor Australia Post man.
This past week, the excitement has been building for this day to arrive. The day that I get FREE Fast Fuse refills. I really dislike spending my “crafty funds” on boring things like adhesive. I never have a problem with cardstock or other consumables, they have never been placed on my boring list. When I first started cardmaking I used double sided tape, I always liked the low price until I found runner tapes, it is so much faster and I don’t have to peel the backing strip off, my nails like that also. I have used many brands over the years, including Snail which is the SU! basic runner tape but a few years ago they released Fast Fuse OMG #lifechanger I have had this talk with many crafty friends about my over the top L-O-V-E for this stuff. Disclaimer, yes I adore Fast Fuse BUT it is not for everyone! What I love about it is, it sticks and I mean sticks, it does have FUSE in the name. That stickiness is also what some people dislike about it. My mum who is a stamper is not a fan, she likes to be able to lift the layer up if she placed it wrong. With Snail, you can do that pretty easily.
Within minutes of ordering opening, I had 10 Fast Fuse and 20 FREE refills ordered plus I grabbed one of the stamp sets (Merry Mistletoe) that is also reduced for World Cardmaking Day celebrations. I may have gotten a little carried away with my expression of love above about Fast Fuse but surprise it is not the only item on sale. From the 1st of October to 10th selected stamp sets are marked down 15%. See below the items, the prices below show catalogue price, click on the image below and the discounted price will display in my online store.
Oooh. Now I am not afraid to admit I have a thing for adhesives. All sorts. Even in Bunnings. I now have my first ever FastFuse on its way 🙂 Thanks Teneale!
Ok, looks like I need to look at Bunnings. I always enjoy trying to find treasures in the craft/paint aisle at Bunnings.
You will have something from me coming this week for using the hostess code. Thank you for the order. 🙂
