Season Like Christmas

The weeks are ticking away on this 12 weeks of Christmas blog bounce with Barbara Williams. Season Like Christmas is the stamp set I selected for use to showcase in this round, it had gone without inky love and it was one I loved, it is a Photopolymer stamp set which is helpful for perfect image placement. The tree is made up of four images stamped on top of each other, I found it best to start with the tree trunk, followed by the fuller bristles image which I stamped off and the next layer of bristles with the baubles have been gold embossed. It has not shown up too well in the photograph but I have lightly stamped the Sheet Music background stamp

Inside the card, I have stamped the tree minus the gold baubles. The greeting has been stamped in Basic Black ink and I highlighted the like you by stamping it on Kraft cardstock and trimming to a banner; I will admit that was not the original plan, I always say in classes “we have not mistakes, only creative opportunities!” After stamping the tree and sponging the outside I stamped the greeting, which did not stamp properly (don’t you hate that happening) after a soft growl of frustration my idea to create the banner popped in my head to cover the section of the greeting that did not stamp clearly.
