Last week I found this GREAT challenge website called clean & simple and I suggest bookmaking this site, I struggle big time with “less is more” simple cards and I have class customers who want me to do more of this style card, SO I need to step out of my comfit zone and challenge myself. This week I took up the clean and simple sketch challenge and had a great time making the following cards, I made 2 of each colour and then put a big bow around them and gave them away as a gift. They were super quick to make and I made 6 in the time it normally takes me to make one card. I have used Stampin’ Up! Kindred Spirits Stamp in VersaMark on all the cards, for the Very Vanilla Cardstock I scored lines on the cardstock to add a little texture and used a mix of different greetings.
Here is the sketch I used:
First up I used Mellow Moss CS and Always Artichoke ink.
Then I pulled out So Saffron CS and More Mustard ink.
And finally Pale Plum CS with Perfect Plum ink for the greeting.
Thanks for stopping by.
I just love this simple style ! Just perfect .
Gorgeous cards simple and elegant. I booked marked this blog quite some time ago and you are right it is great. Just a question… how have you wrapped your ribbon around the card… have you sliced a little section in the fold and threaded it through?
Love visiting your blog Teneale

Love these cards Teneale! I am a HUGE fan of ‘simple’ cards at the moment. Am off to check out that site now!
