I feel like I am on a creative roll! This does not happen often but it is happening at the moment and I am very happy about it. I think it is having lots of new toys to play with from the mini catalogue I splashed out a little more than normal.
So far I have only used Dragonfly Garden but today I am using Dies Beautiful Brushstrokes I have used just the dies, it does come in a bundle with a stamp set (HERE) for a card casing Jay Soriano who is the muse at The Spot this week, see Jay’s blog HERE.
I found this card below on Jay’s Instagram and fell in LOVE. It was the card I was casing for the challenge.
With so many options going through my head, I finally decided on using the roses from Dies Beautiful Brushstrokes. One thing threw me off a little was the rose is three layers and I did not know how I could get three colours that would work together. I decided to colour Basic White A4 Cardstock with Blends in Purple Posy Stampin’ light only with both Highland Heather for the petals. I used Old Olive for the leaves.
The printed paper is True Love which I did use for my Mum’s Birthday card (see HERE).
Can you see that little scallop under the greeting? That is Purple Posy Scalloped Ribbon. The hello greeting is from Forever Fern stamp set and I used the Smooth Sailing Dies to cut the greeting out.
Inside the card. It is bottom-heavy with lots of room to write my message. The greeting I have used inside is from Fancy Phrases and I have used that greeting so often.
Here are the items I have used: Shipping Australia Wide
So beautiful Teneale. Have added this set to my wish list.
WOW! This is truly gorgeous, love the purples with the B&W stripes.
