As the old saying goes… If you are related to a Plummer you always have leaking water. Married to Mechanic you always need an oil change… Friends with a cardmaker, you never receive a handmade card! #DoNotJudge I will admit I am sometimes all the time hopeless at giving cards! I make them but sometimes just not in time for the “occasion” or I like the card so much, I can’t bring myself to give it away #TellMeIAmNotAlone #MumNeverGetsAMothersDayCard
I have a few friends {more of the non-crafty kind} that give me a hard time about never receiving cards in the mail from me 🙂 I have been on a mission this year to send at least one card a week, and so far I have been pretty good. April is CRAZY for birthdays and a few of the “more” cheeky friends are April babies.
Being the way that I am, the stamp set I used in this card is called Birthday Surprise and it has special place in my heart, I love the “surprise” because really some people DO get a surprise that they have received a card from me. The balloons are part of that set and see the list below for all the images, its a great birthday set. I have spoken of my obsession with hashtags and I COULD not resist using a hashtag on this card, the image is from Balloon Bash #HappyBirthday
I am not the only one using the Birthday Surprise stamp set, in fact all the Artisan’s are using it this week on our blog hop, Next up is Vicky.
Listed below the items used, Birthday Surprise comes in Wood or Clear mount and Balloon Bash in Photopolymer only. Shop online by click the item below or chick here

So stunning in it’s simplicity. Your friend will love it!
True story! Actually, I often send a card….ON the day it should have arrived…. sigh. 🙂
And your card is very cute!
Oh my–so relieved that there is someone out there who also neglects to send cards on time! Ha! I am forever scrambling around at the last minute for a card–and NEVER get one mailed on time even though I truly do have good intentions! #YouAreNotAlone
I had to laugh while reading your post cause I am SOOOOO that card maker. I need to get on your mission plan too!
