Earlier in the week, I posted a card using Sweet Ice Cream stamp set (see here) and it started a chat with an American friend about the other images in the stamp set. I call them ‘ice blocks’ and that is common for Australians as Americans refer to them as ‘popsicles’. What do you think, are these ice blocks or popsicles?
No matter what we call them, they make a fun card. I have stamped them in Daffodil Delight and new Incolour Polished Pink. I enhanced the watercolour look by lightly misting the inked stamp with water. Even without adding this step, the stamp would still leave a watercolour look with the way Stampin’ Up! designed it using their exclusive distINKtive rubber surface.
Using the splodge image from Hydrangea Haven to create the strips of Daffodil Delight and Polished Pink for the background in the same water misting technique.
Disclaimer, that greeting is a retired Stampin’ Up! set called silhouettes and script that I just love! I normally do not post cards with retired product. Speaking of retired product, I am having a sale day with a few of my team on 19th June in Old Mt Druitt see more HERE.
Inside the card, I really do love carrying the elements from the front inside the card.
