TGIF Challenge 16 {Every Blessing}

August 16, 2015

By Teneale Williams | Stampin' Up! Elegant Christmas Card | Every Blessing and Kinda Eclectic

This week over at TGIF the challenge for this week is a sketch, a tricky sketch but I do like a good challenge, I will admit that the finished card does not totally look like the sketch but I think the inspiration can be seen.

TGIF

I have added a few more layers, however you can see the circle placement and the starburst which is not quite across the card but still present {insert cheeky smile}.  I have used this stamp set Every Blessing a few times already this year, I love the silhouette style. The starburst image is from Kinda Eclectic, which I stamped in Sahara Sand ink. The music note paper and the silver Cording Trim are both new products from the upcoming Holiday Catalogue.

    Teneale, I’ve just seen your ‘brilliant’ card on Pinterest and have dropped by to say how fabulous it is. Wonderful design. I’ll have to come back and browse later.

    I love your card and how you used the starburst. Would you share how you got the lines on the card to perfectly line up with the white piece.

    Beautiful card, Teneale! Absolutely love the way you used the starburst. Would really appreciate your tips for lining it up so perfectly on the two layers of card stock. Thanks for sharing!!

      Thanks Jill. I stamped the starburst on to the Crumb Cake card base and also onto the Vanilla layer then placed the Vanilla layer over the top of the first stamped image on the Crumb Cake

        You must have a really good eye! I’ve stamped this several times (even with the Stamp-a-ma-jig) and it’s very difficult to get both stamped layers to line up perfectly ; ) Beautiful card though…it sold me on this stamp set!
