If you were reading my blog yesterday {HERE} I expressed my joy over the new In Colors that are coming in the upcoming 2015/2016 Catalogue from Stampin’ Up! [released June 2nd] I have the new colors to play with and a few new stamp sets, I am like a kid on Christmas morning wanting to play with all my new toys.
I recently joined a new design team, for a fabulous new challenge site called TGIF which if you are like me need TGIF explained… it stands for Thank Goodness It’s Friday. Last week was the first challenge and I did not play along as I was at convention but SO excited to play with week for a sketch challenge #thifc02. YOU MUST head over to the site {HERE} and see all the design team cards and we would LOVE if you play along.
Today I played with Mint Macaron and Tip Top Taupe from the new In Color range, as well as a new stamp set called You’ve Got This, now I can’t show the full stamp set however you do see the beautiful flower image, the set also has 3 greets and a background. Keep your eye out for more sneak peeks before its release June 2nd. The flower has been watercoloured with Mint Macaron on the petals and Tip Top Taupe on the leafs and stamen. I was going for “eclectic” more then elegant with this card so the watercolouring is not perfect and more like a quick wash. The flowers on the background are stamped in VersaMark.
Did you play spot the different with my card to the sketch? Yes, I got creative with the sketch and I do not have a point on my middle layer like the sketch, I moved that point to the end of my greeting? I am used to my INKspired Sketch Blog Hops {HERE} were we get a little creative with the sketch but I think I better pull myself back next time. #RuleBreaker
So glad you could finally join us! What a gorgeous card!
I love everything about this card 🙂
This card is beautiful. I love everything about it also!
Perfection as always Teneale, just gorgeous!
This card is beautiful! Can you tell me how you did the Thanks? I love the shape and the black around the edges.
If being a rulebreaker creates such a striking & cool card, then just go for it, T. Love the contrast of the floral with the striped background & the fab sentiment – how have I missed that one?
Hugs, D
PS. thanks for your comment. It means a lot coming from you <3
