I am maybe a little more excited than I should be for today’s challenge Global Design Project [see HERE] It is TOTALLY FUN. The challenge is a thank you theme! The design team have upper the ante but selecting a regular player to Global Design Project and they are receiving our cards.
For me, I had a few people in mind but decided on the super talented Tracy May from the UK. Tracy has played more then I have this year and her work is always super on point and inspiring. Please head over to Tracy’s blog and see her work [see HERE]
I decided to use Tracy as the inspiration, I noticed her blog is called “Bedlam and Butterflies”, so the idea started using butterflies. See below Tracy‘s blog header, I decided to take her colours, the best colour match I could do was Melon Mambo, Bermuda Bay and Silver.
I hope you can see the inspration I used in Tracy’s card. I was not totally sure about the flowers, and well, I am still not sure they are too much but I spent a very long time playing with different options. I really wanted a card that Tracy would love.
I am as well share the inside and my message, I guess I am in the sharing mood. Normally I would use photoshop to remove the text.
I hope you take up the challenge and create a thank you card. I love putting a little bit of the receiver into the card.
