Who knew Daffodil Delight was actually a nice colour! Normally I don’t really do “bright” but after making Madonna’s birthday card last week I think I could say I like Daffodil Delight and seeing that it is Madonna’s happy colour I thought I should use it to make a 30th birthday card for a friend and heaven knows turning 30 is not always a “happy time” so maybe the Daffodil Delight will help make my friend a little happier about the big three zero.
I think I should just make sure when I write inside I should avoid writing that it is such a BIG birthday or even dare say “the big three zero” and as I type that I am now second thinking the 30 on the front.
Teneale,
Too cute, love daffodil delight
Love it, love it, want to marry it! What a fun, happy card!
GORGEOUS! See! See! I’m Daffodil’s Advocate and I think you’re learning Yellow does have a voice!! LOL
Now I’ve faced the big ’40’ the ’30’ seems not big at all. Cute card.
What a gorgeous card and yes the colours are great. I think the Daffodil Yellow looks fabulous!
I’m busy making a card for my brother’s big “60”!! That’s much more scary! TFS! Love the banner- I think I will put one of those on his card!!
What a bright and fun card! I would never have thought of using that colour combo 🙂
How Cute, love the way you used the Pom Poms. The cupcakes and candles make it a fun, happy birthday card. Fantastic..
Oh, boy! Turning 30 isn’t a happy time!!?? I just turned FORTY! And honestly, I wouldn’t go back to 30. So tell your friend, good times are ahead!
Lovely card!
Receiving a card from you would make anyone happy to be turning 30!!! Another gorgeous creation here. I have to admit I was never big on yellow before, but I’ve been using this shade more since Daffodil Delight came out. It’s such a beautiful, sunny colour, not obnoxiously loud like Yo Yo Yellow used to be.
TFS!
Cindy
That is one cool card.I agree i could handle 40 even 50 but not 30.
